On Friday February 14, 2025, ETHELINE JUSTINA MCCLEAN, affectionately known as “MA”of Branchbury, St. Joseph died peacefully at age 95.
She was a retired employee of Castle Grant Plantation, St. Joseph and a faithful member of St. Anne Anglican Church. Widow of Gordon McClean; Daughter of the late Delcina Carrington; Mother of Frank Carrington, Irvan and John McClean (all of the USA), Livingston, Peggy, Cynthia McClean, Sonia McClean-Mayers, the late Sybil and Richard Carrington and Laurner McClean–Prince. Grandmother of Alicia Clarke, Shanelle Hughes, Precious and Sonia McClean (all of the USA), Anthony Chandler, Stephen Carrington, Timothy, Matthew, Jamar, Shamario, Mario, Dario, Arina and Shonnette McClean, Venecia Gittens, Andre Howell, Jamel Sealy, Shadia, Shamya and Shavier Mayers and others; Great-grandmother of many; Sister of Verona Catlyn and Earl Carrington; Aunt of Cyrilene Gibson, Diana Lewis and others; Mother-in-law of Shirley and Sonia McClean (USA), Shelly-Ann McClean, Venslo Mayers and Henryford Prince; Relative of the Catlyn, Carrington and McClean families; Friend of Milton Applewhite, Kim Headley and the members of St Anne Church family.
The Funeral of the late Etheline Justina McClean leaves Paramount
Funeral Home, Upper Hindsbury Road, St. Michael at 12:45 pm on
Tuesday March 11, 2025 for St. Anne Anglican Church, Parris Hill, St. Joseph, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:30 pm for the Service of Praise and Thanksgiving followed by the Interment. The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Paramount Funeral Home no later than 12:30 pm on Tuesday March 11, 2025.
The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of the Paramount Funeral Home on Monday March 10, 2025 from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm.
