On Tuesday March 11, 2025, RONALD EMMERSON BLUNTE of Hothersal Terrace, St. Michael and formerly of Bermuda, Edgehill, St. Thomas and Lears Gap, St. Michael died peacefully at age 69.
He was a retired Autobody Technician; Son of the late Doreen Blunte; Father of Romona Blunte (USA); Former husband of Lucy Blunte; Brother of Ralph “Tony”, Agnes, Chesterfield “Sam” (USA), Victor, Michael, Patrick and Vere Blunte, Marceline Christie, Nigel, Winston and Gregory Moore and the late William Carlloyd “Hong” Blunte. Uncle of Adrian Gill, Maria Williams, Kevin, Pernell, Darrian and Jada Blunte, Ann-Marie Mason and Alexia Blunte (both of the USA) and others; Great-uncle of many; Brother-in-law of Antionette Belgrave-Blunte and Alexis Blunte; Relative of the Blunte, Crookendale, Squires, Moore and Haynes families; Friend of Wayne Clarke, Rudolph Richards and others.
The funeral of the late Ronald Emmerson Blunte leaves Paramount Funeral Home, Upper Hindsbury Road, St. Michael on Tuesday March 25, 2025 at 1:30 pm for St. Matthew Anglican Church, Jackmans Main Road, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 pm for the service of Praise and Thanksgiving to celebrate his life, followed by the interment. The Organist and members of the Church Choir are kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Paramount Funeral Home no later than 1:15 pm on Tuesday March 25, 2025.
The body will repose for viewing in the chapel of Paramount Funeral Home from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm on Monday March 24, 2025.
