On Thursday April 17, 2025, WILMA ONETA WILLIAMS, née Dalrymple, affectionately known as “Mumma” of #2 Whitehall, St. Michael and formerly of Green Hill and St Paul’s Avenue Bayville, St. Michael, died peacefully at age 93.
She was a former member of St. Paul Anglican Church and the Church of the Resurrection. Wife of the late Martin Williams; Beloved Mother of Ewart, Edlyn, Donna and Walwyn Williams, the late Desmond and Carlson Williams; Cherished Grandmother of Kevin Lewis, Denise Miller, Carlos, Wayne (AJ), Erin and Kai Williams, Kelah and Omar Worrell, Saadia, Shakira and Jamel Griffith; Great-grandmother of many; Mother in law of Wayne Williams and Marcia Williams; Relative of the Dalrymple, Spencer, Elcock and Dottin families. Cherished friend of Ermine Gaskin, Carl Downes, Jan Weekes, Jocelyn King, Shirlene Gill, Mrs. Allman, Beverly Gay, Edlyn Francis and the Soroptimist Village family; “Special thanks to Dianne Callender and Circle of Life Multicare Services”.
The Funeral of the late Wilma Oneta Williams née Dalrymple leaves Paramount Funeral Home, Upper Hindsbury Road, St. Michael at 8:15 am on Friday May 16, 2025 for The Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am for a Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate her life followed by the interment in the Cassia Lawns. The Resident Organist is kindly asked to attend. Flowers may be sent to Paramount Funeral Home no later than 8:00 am on Friday May 16, 2025.
